Baan Sardee nestles on the front of Bophut Hill, with unique and enviable 180 views, over 4 bays of the Gulf of Thailand. 5 minutes away is the popular Fisherman’s Village, with its new shopping centre The Wharf; and even newer “Elephant Walk”. A lovely local scene with holiday shops, bars and beach side restaurants and the famous Friday Night Walking. The main town of Chaweng is a 15-minute drive away and the nearest beach is 5 minutes away at Bophut, with soft white sand, warm blue sea and various water sports. The villa has been fully refurbished, including the beautiful infinity edge swimming pool, which is fitted with a modern salt filtration system, which is far kinder to your skin and eyes. The villa has plenty of international plug sockets throughout, so your electrical accessories will work without adapters. There are three double bedrooms, each having AC and en-suite facilities; the Master and Second bedrooms have modern versions of traditional Balinese rain showers, which are external and the third room en-suite has an internal, polished sandstone bath, with rain-shower. The Master has an imported Emperor bed and at 2m x 2m; is suitable for the tallest of guests. The second and third rooms have King size beds. There are extensive landscaped gardens on all sides, containing frangipani trees and tall palms. On the back side, there is a high privacy wall with lockable gate and to the front side, there are deep bougainvillea bushes and bamboo, providing a safe, private and quiet location, to relax, unwind and gaze at the views. The lounge area is fitted with luxurious furnishings; including 2, deep leather and fabric sofas, Balinese wood furniture, a 55"LED TV, cable TV, a sound system, wifi router and games console (PS3). If you are visiting during national or acknowledged international celebrations, the villa provides a wonderful vantage point, where you can see fireworks in every direction and if you're lucky, on a calm night, fireflies with their glowing abdomens - so pretty. Electricity and water are not included in the rate and charged as an extra. ** Due to the hillside location creating staggered levels in the villa, please be aware that there are on average 4 steps between each room and one full set of stairs to the front gate. ** As with many hillside properties, there are various high drops. Our highest is 4m, so children under 10 are not permitted to stay here. The entire villa, swimming pool and gardens are available for your stay. Nicky or Khun Song will check guests into the villa and be on hand should you need assistance. Guests arriving late in the evening or on a Sunday will be notified of our self check in procedure. For your safety, due to the hillside location, there are several short flights of steps internally and a longer flight for the main access. There is also a high drop of 4m on one side. Therefore we advise that the villa is unsuitable for elderly or infirm guests and for children under 10 years of age. Monthly rates do not include electricity and water. The BBQ is not available for guest use during your stay.
