A newly renovated Old Coaching Inn in a beautiful quiet Cotswold village setting close to the market town of Burford with its classic Cotswold architecture and the well known villages of Swinbrook and Minster Lovell. The house has a large south facing garden overlooking fields and is situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Original features such as wooden beams and exposed stone walls have been preserved and are enhanced by contemporary art and furniture. This charming character property has wonderful open plan living spaces on the ground floor with a large kitchen breakfast room flowing into the dining room which has a long table seating 12 and a light filled sitting room with wood burner, smart TV and french doors into the garden. There also is a cozy snug room with another smart TV as well as a utility/boot room with a washing and drying machine and a cloak room. There are a total of five double bedrooms and one single bedroom: The large master bedroom suite occupies the top floor and has a super king size bed and an ensuite bathroom. The garden is perfect for young children as it is at the back of the house overlooking fields, with level access from the reception rooms and it is completely enclosed, therefore providing a safe environment. The open south/west aspect of the garden ensures that there is sun all day. Wonderful walks and three gastro pubs are accessible directly from the house. The Swan Inn at Swinbrook, the Maytime Inn at Asthall and the Old Swan at Minster Lovell are all an easy 1 mile walk away. There is convenient access to the A40/M40 and a 15 minutes drive to Charlbury Station which has direct trains into London Paddington. Burford with its lovely Cotswolds architecture, cafes and delicatessen is a 5 minute drive. It takes 25 minutes to drive into the centre of Oxford, Daylesford with its delicatessen and cafes and Soho Farmhouse, as well as many other typical Cotswold market towns and villages are also an easy drive away.
