This is a lovely converted coach house tucked away in a small courtyard, yet close to the centre of Ashbourne. A short walk to the shops, cafés and restaurants of the town. The property has two bedrooms, one with a king sized four poster bed, and one with a double bed. There's also a well equipped kitchen with dining table, a bathroom with a bath and rainfall shower, and a cosy living room with comfy sofas and imitation woodburner. Guests can also enjoy superfast WiFi and a selection of books, games and DVDs to borrow. (Website hidden by Airbnb) There is no parking on site, but there are two car parks within a two minute walk of the house. One is located in the Market Place, at the end of King Street, and the other, quieter, car park is located on Auction Close, just off King Street. Both offer 24 hour parking tickets for £6. Alternatively, a 3 or 7 day rover ticket is available. Guests are welcome to unload on the road outside. I live around 15 minutes away, and am always available should guests need me. In addition, my mum lives next door to the Coach House, so is also available should any issues arise. Ashbourne is a lovely market town on the Southern edge of the Peak District. Known as the 'Gateway to Dovedale', it's a popular location for those wishing to explore the White Peak area, and is close to the Tissington and High Peak trails. There is easy access to the popular towns of Bakewell, Matlock and Buxton, as well as many beautiful villages. Ashbourne is also only around 20 minutes from Alton Towers. There are several supermarkets in the town (Sainsbury's, Co-op, M&S Food, Aldi) as well as a wealth of independent shops, bars, pubs and restaurants. Whilst free parking is limited in Ashbourne town centre, there are several car parks within walking distance of the house. The nearest train station is located in Uttoxeter. The property is accessed via a key which is held in a lockbox within the courtyard. From time to time residents will lock the main gates. Therefore, it is imperative that guests arrive between 3-9pm so that we can ensure access to the property is straightforward.
