My place is close to Ski bus stop which is 200m away giving direct access to Obergurgl and Solden skiing within 15 miniutes bus journey. The apartment has One large Double bedroom and a Sofa Bed in the lounge and as such is best suited for up to 3 adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children Situated on the ground floor, this stunning 1 bedroom apartment, offers open-plan living, and a good size balcony with exceptional mountain views. We have a local Caretaker John who lives in the building and will be on site to help throughout your stay The Winter Season Solden This resort really comes alive at the end of October, when the winter season kicks off with the Ski world cup. Solden hosts this exciting event annually, beginning with the womens giant slalom on the Rettenbach glacier. Solden boasts 148km of well groomed pistes, and brand new ski gondolas using the latest technology. The town is lively and exciting during the ski season. Night life is varied, with all manner of restaurants, bars and clubs - those looking to indulge in the apres ski here, are seldom disappointed. Throughout the season, various mountain concerts and shows entertain as skiers and boarders take a break on the slopes to soak up the rays. If the slopes are not of interest, there are many more winter activities to indulge in. Tobogganing, ice skating, or snow shoeing, exploring the stunning winter trails. For the adrenaline junkie, why not enjoy the ultimate view, paragliding above the peaks. There are various cross country ski routes to discover, or you could just sit back and relax in a horse drawn sleigh. Obergurl/Hochgurgl Standing on the balcony of the Mountain Star bar at the very top of Hochgurgl, peering out over the snow covered peaks, all the way to Italy, you quite literally feel like you are on top of the world.
