The Little House, Detached Luxury Ensuite Bedroom

Welcome to your own romantic haven, complete with a very comfortable 6ft bed, quality linen, superb shower room, luxury toiletries and stylish decor. It is set in the outbuildings of 18th C. stone farmhouse, so you are completely independent. Easy parking on the drive and your own garden to enjoy. No kitchen but tea/Nespresso making, small fridge with milk/OJ/water. Two pubs/eating houses within a short walking distance. Your perfect hideaway for a visit to Bath, Longleat, Stonehenge & more You are fully independent in your own private space. We endeavour to provide everything you might require to make your stay most enjoyable. Sonos speaker and Smart TV are there to keep you entertained. There is no kitchen and it is not a place to take your meals in. You can enjoy a full English breakfast at our local Farm Shop, or a continental at our village coffee shop. There is no shared space. The Little House is independent from the farmhouse and has easy access (no tight stairs or unpleasant climb). Easy and safe car parking on the private drive, a few steps away from your room. The Little House’s own garden is there for you to enjoy. Because of Covid, hosts are encouraged to offer self check-in but this reduces interactions and opportunities to welcome you personally somehow. When home, I love interacting with my guests but equally respect their peace and privacy. When I'm away, my eldest son Hugo and his wife Miwako, who both live at the farmhouse, will look after you. Please take note of the rural location in a beautiful Somerset village set in gorgeous countryside with great walks. Not recommended if you are looking for loud and crowded nightlife ;) The village store offers some food and breakfast. The farm shop does great food including breakfast. There is a food M&S at the local petrol station, 2 minutes drive away. Our two pubs/restaurants are within walking distance so you can enjoy a drink without concern. Many of our guests have commented how lovely it is to walk back under the starry sky. There are several great options for breakfast in the village or nearby. This is the perfect base to visit Bath (without the traffic and parking nightmare overnight), Stonehenge, Longleat and more. From the map, you must know that we are not in central Bath but about 15/20 minutes South so a car is very much recommended (buses are now very rare). You have free and easy parking on our drive, straight in front of the Little House. You will not have to wake up early to feed the parking meter or carry your luggage for ages (we used to live in central Bath, we know how precious this is). All sightseeing sites are within easy access by car within 10-20 miles. When in residence (usually June-Sept), our "meet & greet crew", Sherlock and Martha, gentle and friendly Old English Sheepdogs, live at the farmhouse. They are ready for your cuddles and can even go with you for a walk in our beautiful countryside.
