COVID-19 *** Whilst we have always strived to deliver a safe and clean environment for our guests, additional cleaning and disinfecting regimes are now implemented to help protect our guests from COVID-19 *** Stylishly adorned in coastal decor, we welcome you to enjoy Brighton in our bayside retreat for short or long stays. Featuring 2 bedrooms, with a Queen Bed in one and a Double Bed in the other. Take in breakfast as the sun comes up over the bay in our delightful dining space at the front of the home. Relax in comfort in our beautifully adorned living space, equipped with a 46” inch tv and (Hidden by Airbnb) cast so that you can keep up to date with your favourite Netflix/Stan series. Keep cool with gorgeous year-round sea breezes, flowing up 18th Ave from the waterfront. If that’s not cutting it on a humid Brissy day, switch on our newly installed air conditioning. Enjoy all the comforts of home with a full kitchen, fridge, microwave and cooking amenities. Wake up well with pod coffee or tea-making facilities. A washing machine and dryer are also available for use during your stay. The house is equipped with a high-speed WIFI connection and the second bedroom offers a desk space to keep on top of your emails while you travel. It is the perfect place for a getaway or work accommodation. Enjoy the entire upper floor to yourself or a group of friends or family. There is no one else residing on the property so you can enjoy full privacy during your stay. There is an on-site car space and ample street parking. Downstairs is restricted for guest access. Rest assured, you will have the property to yourself for your stay - we simply store some of our rarely used belongings downstairs. We have a lock box check-in procedure for easy access at any time of day or night. We also live nearby and can be available to meet guests on arrival if preferred. Please feel free to ask me about local features, attractions or amenities that you are interested in for your stay. Brighton is a peaceful and relaxing sea-side location for any type of getaway. Just a short 200m walk to the beach and Brighton Walkway - turn right and walk down past Sandgate Foreshore and Pool to the iconic Shorncliffe Pier - turn left and find yourself crossing the bridge to Redcliffe. Of a morning if you walk along the waterfront, you will see personal training groups, yoga and pilates classes taking place in the many parks. Sandgate Parkrun is on every Saturday morning at 7am along Flinders Pde. The home is located diagonally across from the Brighton Shops. Featuring a small IGA, bakery, coffee shop, butcher, bottle shop, newsagent, pharmacy, gym, post office and medical centre... what else do you really need? Check my Guidebook to the area for recommendations of what to do and where to eat etc :) We recommend taking in some Kite Surfing on a breezy day - watch.... or participate if you’re feeling game! Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Brisbane Airport, Brighton has great access to the Gateway and Bruce Highway to visit the Gold & Sunshine Coasts. Close to public transport, bus stops to head north or south are a mere 50m away and Sandgate train station is an easy 5 min drive. Take in a show... Brisbane Entertainment Centre is only short Uber drive away! Infants can be accommodated with a high chair and/or portacot with linen upon request. Our yard is fully fenced to accommodate your furry friend/s. The front yard fence is not gated but the back yard is separately gated to keep your doggies safely secured. Small house-trained pets may also stay inside the home upon request. We ask that you ensure they keep off the furniture, including beds. Please respect our property by removing any doo doos from the yard before you vacate. We may ask for a fee should any additional cleaning arise from having your furry one stay. Dogs may be walked on a leash along the foreshore and there is also an off-leash dog exercise area less than 500m away, heading north. An off-leash dog beach is also approx 500m in the other direction. Being that we live in a vibrant wildlife community, from time to time you may encounter the odd possum or bush turkey. There’s no need to be alarmed, they are just curious and will be on their way in no time! Need some place to call home for longer than a few weeks?
