The Tuscany of France - unspoilt!

We have a 16th century stone house B&B which offers comfortable accommodation in 4 double rooms and a suite, with pool, mid way between Toulouse and Carcassonne in quiet countryside from 80€ per night for 2. Sorry no children under 12. 40 mins from Toulouse, 50 mins from Carcassonne or 1hr from Albi, Pyrenees or the Med, our 16th century farmhouse is in a very peaceful location just 10 minutes from the A61 motorway so a perfect base to explore the area. Free unlimited wifi, free safe parking, breakfast included. We have four rooms (priced from90-120€ per night per room for 2 people) all very comfortable with a mix of original features and more modern decor. flat screen tvs. dvd players and a relaxed friendly atmosphere. We are in a small village, with a small fishing lake nearby. Closest railway station in Villefranche de Lauragais. Great location to relax and unwind with nothing but scenery and peace and quiet, but jump in the car and be in the heart of everything within minutes. Michelin starred restaurants within 15 minutes. The Orchid room is 95€ per night and has a jacuzzi bath and a bed of 160cm. The Gardenia and Jasmine are 90€ they have 180cm beds, they are north facing and stay nice and cool in the heat of the summer. Olive room is 85€ and has 160cm bed and views of the orchard Dinner can be provided on request for 30€ all inclusive - aperitif, canapes, 4 courses with wine and coffee/tea We have three friendly dogs , a vegetable garden and a small orchard where we try to have as much home grown produce as we can. It is also possible to rent the whole house at certain times of the year. Please ask for further details. We may also allow you to stay with your dog/dogs. Again please contact us first. The rental of the house exclusively in July and August is €2500 per week. All rooms have full ensuite bedrooms with all beds 160 or 180cm wide. TV, DVD CD player in rooms. Use of pool, garden, lounge area, terrace. DVD library, Breakfast included. Sorry due to the quiet relaxing ambience we do not accept children under 12. We are on site (different part of the house) providing breakfast, dinner on request, tourist information, laundry service and general chit chat if required! We are in a tiny village with no commerce, but the closest restaurant is 5 minutes drive. Peace and quiet is the main reason to come here, nowt but scenery as they say. Only 12 minutes from the autoroute so you can be in Toulouse or Carcassone in under an hour. Within 15 minutes drive there are 2 medium sized towns with a wealth of restaurants from truck stops to michelin starred establishments. We aren't overlooked and have 360 degree views of the rolling hills of the Lauragais. A car is pretty much essential here, unless you are a professional cyclist. We are 300m above sea level so quite hilly. We offer free secure parking and can offer a taxi service from the airport. We have 4 very well behaved, friendly dogs. If you like dogs, they'll be your friend and if you don't like them they'll sense it and leave you alone. They live in a separate part of the house with us. We can offer free wifi and free calls to over 50 countries (landlines) if you want to call home and let everyone know you are ok. We can also be rented for parties, weddings and other events.
