This is camping, but not as you know it! Riverwood farm luxury safari tent is tucked away within 8 acres of woodland within a beautiful corner of East Devon. Our canvas lodge is perfect to truly unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy a relaxing holiday in this stunning location whether you stay, explore and relax in the 8-acre site or go exploring the lovely East Devon countryside and attractions. Our uniquely designed canvas lodge offers a spacious living area with a fully equipped indoor kitchen with large dining table, three bedrooms with luxury bedding. A modern bathroom with a hot shower and towels are provided. Just down from the raised deck we have a picnic table, fire pit, BBQ and hot tub. Enjoy time as a family exploring, finding hidden streams or relaxing by your campfire, look for Owls swooping across the fields as dusk settles, or head indoors to chat or play games around the dining table. One of the unique features of Riverwood Farm compared to other Glamping sites is the feeling of space, being at one with nature and the freedom for children to explore. For those that have the patience, if you sit quietly at dawn or dusk you might be lucky enough with sights of deer, owls, foxes, bats, badgers and rabbits. Riverwood Farm is a car-free space to make it less disruptive on the plants and animals. The carpark is a short walk away to your Safari Tent (50m). A member of Riverwood Farm will meet you at check in and will be contactable at anytime through out your stay if needed. There is an enormous variety of things to do in and around the area, including coast and country walks, National Trust properties, gardens, blue flag beaches, thatched villages and picturesque towns, castles, craft and antique centers, children’s theme parks and farms, boat trips and fishing. The farm itself is also home to many different species of wildlife and plants.
