Lovely cottage by a church, a pond and the common.
My place is close to great views. Set right by the church, village pond and a large common. Short or long walks from cottage or nearby (maps available); 2 mini supermarkets in village; access to city easy by regular buses or car; coast about 40 mins; sports for the public at University of East Anglia. Rural and picturesque, but easy for city. Guests are welcome to use the lounge, kitchen, garden and all common areas. There is a 'music' room that may occasionally be used for practising, but only on rare occasions. There is free use of the washing machine and a space in the fridge. Crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. can be used by guests. There is a laptop that can be borrowed for internet access or general use. Guests are welcome to ask any questions about the local area. Local maps can be borrowed for walking or other places of interest. Local events can be recommended or researched by the host, or guests can be signposted. The cottage is located next to the village church and pond. Straight from the door there are walks of varying length, including the common (the second biggest in Norfolk). Mulbarton is on the Tas Talley Way, a long distance footpath (about 20 miles) from Attleborough to Norwich. The Boudicca Way is also nearby, linking Norwich to Diss by foot. There are two mini supermarkets in the village that sell most things that guests would need in terms of sustenance. If guests come by car, then parking could not be easier. There is off-road parking on the gravel drive or parking directly outside the cottage. There is always plenty room for cars. Buses run regularly into Norwich from the bus stop which is about a two minute walk from the cottage. The host is happy to collect and drop from Norwich, Wymondham or Diss by mutual arrangement for a small additional cost. Each of these three places are accessible by rail or national coach services. There is a sofa bed in the lounge. The stairs are open but there is a bannister. The stairs could be regarded as steep by some people.
