Whimsical Rustic Cabin in Maine- Newly Renovated!

This is an adorable rustic but lux little get-a-way in the heart of Jackson, Maine. There are several cabins built on the property creating winter village feel. We've opened this cabin to winter rentals with the caveat that a guest could potentially wake up on a very cold morning with a temporary loss of water at the kitchen sink due to freezing. However, the condition is usually temporary and just effects the kitchen sink and not any of the bathroom fixtures. This listing is for the front cabin called the Bird's Nest which is now completely renovated! We are always adding to and fluffing it. Situated on 5 wooded acres to wander on.... and another 100+ acres down the road with a stream, pond and woods roads for hiking! Belfast is 24 min. away (17.3 miles) and is a treasure to explore. Excellent food and shopping available along with ocean tours that can be booked and surrounding coastal communities to explore. Bucksport, Lincolnville and Camden are all an easy and fun expedition. We are 17.3 miles from Unity College and 30.6 miles from the Bangor Airport. Common Ground Country fair is 11.6 miles away. We can be available if you need us or completely out of sight! Let us know what you need to make your stay perfect and we will accommodate whenever possible Jackson is three miles outside of Brooks and has a little cafe that resources from some amazing local farm foods. Ralphs Cafe is seasonal so check hours. There is also a small but well stocked grocery store, hardware store and co-op! Very centrally located to Augusta, Waterville, Belfast and Bangor. UBER is just becoming active in the area. Check for availability. These cabins include recycled windows and wood and were built with love and sometimes with unconventional means which gives it a unique character and design. the door shuts from the outside with a wooden toggle and has a latch on the inside.
