Close to the ocean in cool house full of light

Just 4 min walk to the ocean! Our house is airy and full of light from the high ceiling and large windows. The house is centered around the generous social areas and is perfect for spending time with family and friends. Located in Bjärred, a beautiful beach village just 20 min from Lund and 30 min from Malmö, you will stay close to everything but still enjoy nature just around the corner. There are several activities to enjoy and places to see in Bjärred that will make your stay fantastic! Our spacious one floor house is full of light and air. There are doors or high windows in almost every corner of the house and you can reach the garden from both the living room and three of the bedrooms. The living room has large ceiling high windows facing the green and lush garden and at night you can enjoy looking out in the beautifully lit patio. During the cold season you will instead love the fire place and the cosiness it brings. The house is centered around the generous social areas and is perfect for spending time with family and friends. As our guests you are free to use the full house and all equipments such as jacuzzi, dish washer, laundry machine and dryer. There is space in all bedrooms for you to hang or put your clothes. The garden is also fully available including grill and outdoor furniture. You can use the drive way to park your car. Feel free to use our bikes if you like to go on a bike ride. We will only accept guests while away on holiday so we will let you have full privacy in our house. If you however have any questions, you are always welcome to call or e-mail us. In the late 1900-century Bjärred used to be the beach get away for people living in Lund. Today Bjärred is an active village with schools, grocery stores and restaurants. Close to our house there is a green recreation area just by the ocean. If you want to meet the Bjärred people, just take a stroll or jog along the beach walk, this is where everybody relaxes and spends time with family and friends. Watch the beautiful beach houses, pick blackberries and enjoy the scenic view of the ocean and the Öresund bridge. After a short walk you will reach "The long dock" which is one of the longest docks in Sweden. At the end of the dock you can relax in the sauna and the mandatory skinny dip in the ocean. Afterwards, you can enjoy a tasty brunch, lunch or dinner in the restaurant. At the beginning of the dock, there is a great family beach with shallow water and a large playground. Close to Bjärred you can play golf at several golf courts, enjoy a Swedish fika (coffee and pastries) and rent canotes at Borgeby Castle, visit Flädie Vinary for food and a tour around the vinary, kite surf by the beach of Habo Ljung and take a swim at Lomma beach. In Bjärred it is easy to take the bike to places but a car is also ok since there are parking spots everywhere. There is a bus just around the corner going to Lund. From Lund you can get on the train to Malmö or Copenhagen. Or you can grab the bus from Bjärred Center heading directely to Malmö.
