Having previously been a retirement home, we have lovingly restored it to offer group accommodation in this delightful area of rural France. While we are new to airbnb, we have hosted educational retreats here since 2013, integrating airport transfers and day trips with structured learning, all organised in advance for a smooth programme. We have the capacity to offer separate accommodation for teaching staff from students, as the house has two wings - otherwise you and your friends can all be together in the one wing. The main kitchen is not available to guests, however there is a separate area where you can make coffees, teas, simple meals as required. While we are on site to assist and ensure that all runs smoothly, we do expect guests to clean up after themselves. For example, guests are expected to wash their own dishes. Similarly, if a guest wants fresh linen for their bed or bathroom, we will provide it and wash the used linen, but we don't change the bed. In this way, your privacy is respected. We also ask that guests strip their own beds when they leave. The pictures give you a true idea of how charming the village is. There are many lovely things to do locally, but some require transport. We can help with ideas and organising those special excursions to best suit your group's needs before you arrive. Our closest major airport is Blagnac at Toulouse. Our closest train station is at Lannemezan. There are also bus services to and from the village, but they require forward planning. We have connections and experience to assist you in this regard, but forethought is always best. The village is very friendly, located on the top of a hill on the plain at the foot of the Pyrenees. While we welcome guests, we don't accommodate disruptive parties in the house. Alcohol should only be consumed in the dining room with meals. It is our home as well, so we want the villagers to welcome our guests as warmly as we do, today and in the future. The house is your 'safe place' when you are our guest.
