FOR THE SURFER OR FAMILY WITH HIGH STANDARDS! Spanish country house in Galizano - Enjoy the wonderful landscape in Galizano and surroundings, a quiet village located in Cantabria, northern Spain. The house is located on the Way of St. James and has numerous beaches and perfect waves, numerous hiking possibilities. We offer our guests from May 25 on the opportunity to participate surf lessons in our surf school . The house is located a 7 minutes walk from the sea. Due to its quiet location, the Surfhouse is perfect for relaxing. Accommodation is in 2-bed rooms and double rooms, with the master bedroom having its own bathroom and toilet. The other rooms share two more bathrooms. The house offers you a large garden, for sports activities. There are many cozy restaurants in Galizano and nearby Loredo and Somo. If you have any questions, you can contact us by phone or email. Otherwise, a contact person will coordinate the acceptance of the house. Galizano is a small coastal town in the northeast of the Spanish Bizkaya Bay. The accommodation is the perfect starting point for an unforgettable holiday of recreation and nature. In addition to the impressive landscape and the beautiful mountain scenery in the hinterland, numerous bays, including the Bay of Langre, offer the finest sandy beaches. The bay, which is protected from the wind by high cliffs, offers surfers of all levels excellent surfing conditions. Culturally, the region has much to offer. The capital Santander is only 30km away and can easily be reached by ferry from Somo. The Picos de Europa National Park is world famous and offers excellent walking opportunities and plenty of scope for further activities. The region thrives on its nature and activities. Surf lessons and private lessons can be booked in cooperation with Liquid Surf. The surrounding area also has countless sights and attractions beyond surfing life. In addition to surfing, a variety of sports activities, such as Rafting, Gotcha, motorcross, mountain biking, hiking, diving, kiting and windsurfing. If you want to experience something completely different, you can experience beautiful national parks, caves, animal parks, medieval villages like Santillana del Mar and the student city of Comillas, where there is a Gaudi house. A highlight is the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao - this is a day trip. Nearby Somo has pubs and shops. Somo is easily accessible by taxi or bicycle, from there you can also take the ferry to Santander. After a surfing day, you can enjoy bonfire nights on the beach, the nightlife of Santander. With the public bus you get there (bus stop about 15 minutes), where there are plenty of shopping opportunities as well as the Spanish party culture waiting for you. The villa of course has Wi-Fi, outdoor trampoline and a barbecue. The house has 4 mountain bikes, with which you can make small exploratory or shopping trips. If you arrive by car, you can leave it at the car park on the property.
