A striking, very spacious first floor apartment in an area of outstanding natural beauty and with excellent sea views. Located in the East Devon town of Seaton with many specialist shops, pubs and restaurants only a short walk. Just 300 yards from the beach and within the old town itself. Local attractions include The Tramway, Seaton Jurassic etc. Only a short drive (7 miles) to the famous seaside town of Lyme Regis with its beautiful sandy beach and many artisan shops, cafes and pubs. Free Wi-fi A most attractive light, bright and very large first floor apartment in a splendid end of terrace Victorian coastal house 300 yards from the beach and with a superb panoramic outlook. Sympathetically modernised and retaining many period features. The apartment has magnificent high ceilings, original decorative cornicing and a cast iron fire place. Rustic Oak furnishings throughout. The lounge has a full size double Futon sofa bed that can sleep an extra 2 guests if required. The dining table is located in the bay window to make the most of the panoramic view over the Bowling Green, Seafield Gardens and the sea beyond. A travel cot and high chair are also provided. TV, DVD Player with a selection of DVD's. Black out window blinds. The bedroom is another impressively large bright room with bay window and period chandelier. King size bed with a premium pocket sprung/memory foam mattress. Linen is provided. Full length dress mirror, wardrobe with hangers and a chest of draws. Armchair. TV. Black out window blinds. The kitchen has period style oak units with a granite bistro table and chairs. The tall window also captures the southerly sea views across the bowling green and gardens with Lyme bay beyond. The kitchen is well equipped with Gas hob, electic oven, microwave, fridge freezer. The hallway has a walk-in store cupboard complete with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron/ironing board and childs high chair. There is also a front door intercom. The separate bathroom has a bath with an overhead rainfall shower, sink and toilet. Plus a non slip bath mat and a large heated towel rail. Towels are provided. PARKING INFORMATION The property does not have an allocated parking space, though parking to the front of the building is free (subject to availability). A pay and display car park is located just behind the building (weekly passes are available online). Further free parking is available in Ryalls court, which is about 5 minutes walk. The apartment is located on the first floor. The staircase to the first floor is very wide and shallow, once in the Apartment there are no stairs. I am available at all times day or night via my contact number. This will be provided upon booking confirmation in case of any issues. Seaton is a fabulous place to visit with many local attractions and things to do with the whole family. The town itself has many lovely one-off artisan shops. There are also two supermarkets. Tesco's (which is is huge), plus there is a smaller Co-op store. Tesco's also has a competitively priced petrol station. Seaton has many pubs and restaurants including one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the south west, a superb steakhouse and an award winning fish and chip shop. You will be certainly be spoilt for choice if eating out. There is also its famous electric tramway, where you can take a ride and view the beautiful wetlands with an abundance of birds and wildlife. The tram will take you to the nearby village of Colyton, where the station has a superb coffee shop and antique centre. In Seaton you can also visit the fascinating and recently opened Jurassic center and travel back in time to the age of the dinosaurs! Fossil hunting is a popular local pastime and the area is famous for some important finds. The town has it's own golf course and there are also excellent courses in nearby Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. All of these attractions and more will be found in your welcome pack upon arrival, but i am always on hand to help in anyway i can during your stay. Seaton is easily accessible via public transport. Axminster is only 15 minutes away and has a direct train line to London and easy connections to many other areas. Buses also run from the city of Exeter, with its national express coach stop. From here, there are connecting services to Seaton itself.
