A two bedroom, three bed apartment located directly in the heart of the city, overlooking the Square - the hub of all that downtown has to offer. Please note our buildings elevator is currently being serviced — guests will need to use the stairwell to get to our unit on the second floor! In walking distance to all there is to explore, you'll find yourself at the center of the action surrounded by local eats, art, shopping, performing arts, history and more - all accessible by foot! Owned by a local business owner and operated by his daughter, this apartment is as charmingly York as it gets! From photography that showcases the cities' most iconic locations, to shelves decorated and stocked with local items all the way down to the bathroom soaps, you'll get a true experience of York from start to finish. Located in a secure condo building, you will have keypad access to the building lobby and key access to the apartment, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay. This spacious apartment comfortably hosts six guests, and provides amenities that will make your stay comfortable, including a full kitchen with dish washer and basic cooking supplies, living room with television, WiFi, washer and dryer located within the apartment, air and heating. Two bedrooms (one queen, one double) and a double sofa bed in the living room with brand-new memory foam mattress will make your stay perfect for families, large groups, or travelers looking for a spacious, comfortable stay that is convenient to all that York has to offer. When local parades and events come to town - including Street Rod Nationals East, the York Fair, Harley Davidson Open House Weekend - we are directly on the route. There is a parking garage located conveniently next door to the condo building. On street parking is available as well. **Both on street and garage parking are free in the evenings and on weekends. The parking garage is also free all day Saturday and Sunday and free Monday through Friday from 6:30pm until 8am. The parking garage does charge $2.00 per hour from 8am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday are free all day. The meters on the street do require payment Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 3pm. The cost is $1.50 per hour. The meters are free from 5pm to 8am Monday through Friday, Saturday after 3pm and all day Sunday. Upon booking our condo, we will send you a confirmation message via airbnb. The day before your arrival we will send you another message with all the information you need to check-in. Uber is also available for quick transportation. Rabbit Transit buses also operate 15 local routes to get you where you need to go. If you drive, park your car in the connected garage for a low daily rate or on the street via metered parking (which is free on the weekends on most streets!) - needless to say, you've got options!
