Palma Nova Mediterranean Sea Views Villa

Please note that this is a *FAMILIES ONLY* Villa!! This is a very quiet area so we don't accept bookings of groups of people under 25. Thanks for understanding! The beaches and the main street are about 5 minutes walk. There are loads of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars close by, but not too close! You don't share the villa! Hi! We live in the apartment at the rear of the property. You have the villa completely private. When you come to the villa, we give you the keys and then only you will use the villa. We will not enter unless there is a problem and you need our help, or of there is an emergency. I'm Fiona and I've lived with my husband, Norm, in this area for over 30 years. The villa is huge with many terraces and with places you can relax. If your group is large, you can always find a quiet place in the villa. We're from Scotland originally but moved here in '88. We know the island really well and can advise you about almost anything you'll need to know. We both speak Spanish too, so if there's an emergency, we will help of course. This area of Palma Nova is extremely quiet and tranquil. But if you want to go to the lively areas of Magaluf, it is about 20 minutes to walk there. The good thing is that the villa is quite far from the night life and you cannot hear anything at night. We have a beautiful Boxer dog called Lucy who loves people and children especially. But she has no access to the villa. She’s great with kids, but if you prefer, we will keep her out of your way. Palma Nova is just 25 minutes from Palma airport and the city, and we have three of the best beaches in Europe only 5 minutes' waking from the door. The villa is a short taxi ride from the water parks and family attractions such as the famous 'Pirates' show or the amazing 'Katmandu' upside-down house with its kids' adventure park and mini-golf. Also we have the 'Western Water Park' too, just about 6 euros taxi ride away. Just 250 meters from the beach you'll find 'Villa Las Palmeras' ('Palm Tree Villa'), a classic 1960s Mediterranean, sea-view home that was fully refurbished to a very high standard in 2015. With four double bedrooms, a huge lounge and dining room, a large, exterior dining room by the very large pool, fully-fitted kitchen, you'll feel spoiled and privileged to spend you family holiday here. There's a chill-out area too, on the upstairs terrace, where you can relax with a glass or two after a hard day at the beach, when the kids are in bed. The pool is very easy to access with easy steps into the shallow end and there are sunbathing platforms with sun-beds supplied. There is a security fence at the pool if you need it. We have a baby stroller, a baby cot, safety gates for the stairs if you have very small children. The villa is fully air-conditioned throughout. Just 250m down the road, (5 minutes by foot) there's a huge selection of bars and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. On your arrival, you'll find some basic foods and drinks in the fridge and a chilled bottle of Cava will be waiting too. ***PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR REVIEWS*** We look forward to meeting you! We live in the apartment behind the villa so we're always available to help if you need it but we won't mix with you unless you insist! We've lived here for 30 years so we can offer advice on anything you need to know about our beautiful, little island in the sun. Very tranquil and peaceful. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Also a small, quiet bar in 2 minutes. There are many restaurants, Spanish, Chinese, Indian, British, Thai, International. You can walk to the restaurants in 5 - 30 minutes. The villa is in a very quiet street. Even in summer, it's extremely peaceful. You can also walk to the area of Magaluf in about 20 minutes. But you cannot hear Magaluf at all. You can walk to the beaches, shops, bars and restaurants in 5-10 minutes. There's a great taxi service and regular bus services. But to truly appreciate the island, rent a car!
