Welcome Spring/Summer 2020! We apologize that we had been closed due to covid-19 pandemic. I have reopened effective July 1, 2020. I assure you, this is a corona virus-free zone and I have taken every precaution to remain so and maintain a health-friendly environment. I'm ready to greet my solo visitors with space that accommodates spring into summer activities. Right now, I only have Fridays available through to the end of the year w/new checkout time of 3pm to allow lake swimming. My home is close to the Town center, Blish Park, tennis, art and culture, local restaurants for dining in or outside. The home location offers a quiet and serene environment, with access to four local restaurants. The best outdoor treasure is Lake Terramuggus. My home is best suited for solo adventurers and business travelers, although two people are welcome for short term visits. Please note, this home is lived in. I live here on the premises and will be your host, however, you are free to come and go as you please as I too, will often be off-site doing outdoor activities. The location of this home is centrally located in CT with a rural, country setting. My home is a small ranch - cottage style - single floor living space. There are neighbors close enough, while privacy is still evident. The home comes with a beach association accommodation with lifeguard on duty in the summer months, within just a short walking distance from the house - no fees or extra costs to you for this beach benefit. In the autumn, there is fishing and leaf peeping at the Lake. You will have access to all door entrances, along with full access to living room, dining areas, kitchen, and deck and outdoor grilling. While I currently do not have wireless access, this is something I plan to add in the near future. UPDATE: I now have wireless access. When you arrive, just ask me about the ID and PW. I am on the premises too and am available in the morning and evening and on weekends. I am very active, so often, I am out doing things outside the home. On some occasions, my hours may overlap with your schedule just a bit. Please let me know if this is of concern. The neighborhood is mostly adults and a few families with children. In the summer, the children are active at the beach. Overall, the neighborhood is quiet and very safe. Not much traffic on this road. The homes are well kept and cared for. There is bus service going into Hartford daily. The ride is just 15-20 minutes into the city. Although Middletown is of equal traveling distance, there is no bus service to that city. UConn is of equal distance going east. Actually, Marlborough is right in about the center of the state, making it accessible to most CT cities easily. There is off road parking at my location.
