‘Fancy Like’ - Pet Friendly

I have converted my downstairs bonus room into a comfortable private living space. Guests have their own entry door from the outside. I live on a deep water canal with boat dock, and am 1/2 mile from the local boat ramp. You may use the dock space and there is plenty of room to park your trailer or boat and trailer. Storage space for hunting and fishing equipment too! Guests have their own private bath, and kitchen AREA with coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. No kitchen sink or range. This is your own private space with private entrance (side door of the house) that includes private full bath with rain-head showerhead, living space, and bed space with privacy screen. Two Guests can share Queen bed, Daybed is twin with pull out trundle twin, and one guest can sleep comfortably on the couch. More than 2 guests is an additional charge of $20 per night per guest. The kitchen area provides guests with their own small refrigerator, microwave and the all essential coffee pot. Provided are coffee, coffee pods, tea bags, sweeteners and dry creamer. In that the area does not have a kitchen sink, I also have water for drinking or to make the coffee, and I have paper plates, cups, utensils and other disposables. Condiments can be found on the counter and in refrigerator (salt, pepper, Mayo, catsup, mustard). The space is downstairs of the house that I live in full time. Plenty of comfortable seating, 42” Smart TV with local live channels, and good WiFi. Pets are welcome but cannot be left unattended. If you go out - your pet goes with you. Also downstairs is my stained glass studio. This space is separate from the AirBnB space and you are not sharing space with me when I am in my studio. But you ARE welcome to come take a look! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Other than your own private space…..Guests are welcome to use the boat dock on the backyard canal. There is also a fire pit in the backyard and covered patio space with picnic table if you would like to use it. There is a boat ramp 1/2 mile from the house ($5 to launch). You are welcome to dock your boat at the house during your stay. Plenty of room in the yard for parking boat and/or trailer. You are free to come and go as you please once checked-in. Door entry info provided prior to arrival. I live upstairs and am available if you need me. I generally like to be there to greet guests and show you around…..then I’m gone until / unless you call me. I live in a great neighborhood just outside of the Town of Belhaven. In town there are some nice places to shop and great places to eat. The hours are limited, so plan accordingly. I’m only 3 miles from the center of town (restaurants and shops), or, in another direction, you have a Food Lion, Dollar Tree, ABC store, Vinnies Pizza, Chinese take-out, Highway 55 and a Hardees. I have local restaurant menus and hours of operation in a provided guest book. Plenty of parking. Not sure about Uber/Lyft or cabs. The name is ‘Fancy Like’ - it’s far from being a resort! I’ve done the best I could with a pretty “raw” space. The floors are painted concrete, the walls are painted cinder block, and the ceiling is vinyl siding scraps. The bathroom is not spa like! But it IS functional. And my WiFi is wayyy better than a hotel!
