The sunny garden with table for six is a delightful place to relax, eat or play. The house is in a quiet part of Alderbury, a vibrant village near Salisbury. Close to the New Forest, Stonehenge, and long sandy beaches at Bournemouth and Poole. Beautiful walks right from the door! Sorry, no children under 8 and no parties. We offer a lovely, newly renovated family home with three spacious bedrooms, a large garden, a new kitchen with vaulted ceilings, a triple aspect lounge with comfortable sofas & chaise longue where you can sit and enjoy the view of the garden, plus a separate elegant dining room, again with garden views. The garden contains a mix of lawn and planted areas. There’s a bistro set for two and a lovely big table for everyone to gather round. It’s a sun trap, but there is shade from the tree and a parasol if you need it. This is not a party venue. You will have the entire property to yourselves - the rooms shown in the pictures and the garden. Our neighbour Sara will greet you on arrival. You will have her contact details as well as mine in case you need a hand during your stay. The village of Alderbury has many lovely countryside walks nearby. The historic city of Salisbury is about 3 miles away and has a variety of shops, cafes and historical buildings such as the cathedral. You might enjoy days out to nearby places such as the sandy beaches at Bournemouth, beautiful landscapes of The New Forest, Moors Valley Country Park, Peppa Pig World & Paultons’s Park, and cities such as Southampton and Winchester. There’s off-road space for several cars to park and a veranda where you could store bikes. There are buses to Salisbury where there is a train line to London and the South West. We can provide you with the number of a local taxi company if you need it.
