This bright and spacious family room is available as a self-catering gite sleeping a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. It is part of a renovated 200 yr old farmhouse nestling in over 3 acres of beautiful grounds. The owners live in the main house and there are also 3 B&B rooms available, Lovely pool with views. Breakfast is available at extra cost if wanted The Pyrenees suite has a double bed, a single bed and a convertible single bed suitable for a child up to 12 yrs old. There is a sitting area, a kitchen and an en suite shower room. The suite is on the ground floor and has its own entrance and patio Guests are able to enjoy the 3 acres of beautiful gardens as well as a 10m x 6m pool with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The garden and pool are shared with the owners and any guests staying in the B&B rooms. There is also a table tennis table and swing, bats and balls for guest use. Indoor board games and books are also available Breakfast is also available at 10 euros per person. (5 euros for children under 10 yrs old). Lesley and Dave have lived at La Maire for 5 years and are now very familiar with this beautiful part of France. Please ask them for advice on places to walk and visit both locally and in the stunning Pyreneen mountains This is a peaceful and beautiful corner of the Ariege with far -reaching views, great walking and cycling, picturesque villages, caves and easy access to the Ariege Pyrnees and Andorra. The nearest shops and restaurants are 15 minutes drive away at Pamiers We recommend that visitors have their own transport but we have plenty of space for parking, including under cover. Being at the end of the lane, security is not a problem
