You can walk to the interior of Obidos castle walls, just steps away, where an array of restaurants, bars and handcraft stores can be explored. The back patio is private, with south exposure, for some relaxing moments.Surf schools are abundant in Peniche and Baleal, and if you're into culture and history, Caldas da Rainha with it's museums, Alcobaça with World Heritage Monastery, or even the Buddha Eden oriental garden near Bombarral. Nature is also contemplated in the Óbidos region, as you're moments away from the Lagoa de Obidos, with a path all around the lagoon where you can walk or cycle and enjoy the views, quietness and marine wildlife. And you're in the center of oeste region's best location, where at a maximum of 30 minute drive, you can explore the beaches of Nazaré, S. Martinho, Peniche, Baleal, Foz do Arelho and the golf courses at Bom Sucesso, Royal Obidos and Praia d'El Rey. Obidos is the place to be in Portugal's Oeste Region.
