Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Talgarth is surrounded by beautiful countryside and mountains, and is ideally positioned for many outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, canoeing, pony trekking and gliding. The book town of Hay on Wye is only 9 miles away, and the City of Hereford is less than one hours drive. Brians' activities include volunteering in the Talgarth Tourist Information Centre and he is therefore able to help with information about activities in and around the local area, and the supply of helpful leaflets and maps.o A regular bus service between Brecon and Hereford can be caught on a regular basis in the town centre throughout the day.
