Renovated Family home with modern amenities

This property is within 1.5 hours from either Rome of Naples and is a 20 minute drive to Sperlonga, one of Italy's most beautiful beach towns. Our home was built by my Great Grandfather and was occupied by German soldiers during World War II. It was renovated and restored in 2015/2016 and has modern amenities but still maintains its original character and charm. It is a very relaxing and peaceful home. Our home is good for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids). This home was built by my Great Grandfather in the early 1900s. During World War II, the house was used by the German Nazi SS as an office as the Germans had soldiers in Lenola who were monitoring the area as the US and Polish armies were in Monte Cassino fighting during the war. My family was forced to evacuate this house and retreat to nearby mountains until the end of the war, when they were able to return home. My Great Grandparents were farmers and tended to the land. My Great Grandfather went to Johnstown, PA in the United States to work for some time with his eldest son. My Great Grandfather returned to Italy. My Grandfather, who was the last born child, immigrated to New Jersey, United States in the mid 1960’s with my Grandmother and my Mother. We came to Italy often as children and it is now our treasured family home filled with wonderful memories that we impart to our own children. This house sat vacant for nearly 40 years until it was renovated in 2015/2016. You will find all of the conveniences of a modern, well equipped home but with the charm of its era and respecting its history. I live in Denver, Colorado. My father and several friends live close by or in town and also speak English who will be able to assist you during your stay.
