Oldfield House is a spacious family house only a minute's walk from the village pub and two minutes' walk from the sea and picturesque Chichester Harbour. The twin single ground floor bedroom has a wide entranced en-suite shower making it suitable for those who are unable to manage stairs. Guests have exclusive access to the whole of the house and garden with the exception of the detached double garage and the outdoor space immediately behind it. The owner lives next door and so most likely you'll be met and shown around the property to ensure that you get the most from your stay. The village has a strong sailing and boating scene as it's one of the few all tides boat launch areas. There is a newly refurbished village pub one minute's walk from the house and a coffee shop three minute's walk from the house. The nearest shops are in East Wittering, a 5 minute drive. The Blue flag awarded beach of West Wittering is a 5 minute drive. Although public transport does serve the village it is very limited so cars are recommended. Once arrived there are plenty of routes for exploring by bike, foot or boat. The village is usually very quiet at night so outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum due to the proximity of the neighbours. As a result this property is not suitable for parties which are likely to generate noise late into the night. Oldfield House should not be confused with Oldfield Cottage, a smaller eight person property next door which is also available for short term rentals. Both are owned by the same family.
