Large room with bathroom in Liberty villa

Elegant Liberty style villa with terrace and balconies located within its own park in Sant'Ambrogio, one of the most exclusive residential neighborhoods in Varese. A 10-minute drive from Sacro Monte (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and 20 minutes from Campo dei Fiori (height 1200 meters), ideal destinations for walks and bike rides. Very good connection to the historic center of Varese: bus stop at 200 meters. TO BE NOTED: due to Covid-19, we can't accept bookings from people without green pass. Camera del Prato (about 23sqm) is a large, bright room with two windows. It is equipped with a double bed, armchairs, small writing desk and TV. The room is located on the first floor in a private part of the villa. It is not ensuite but it does have its own bathroom with bathtub for the exclusive use of the occupants. The room also has a nice balcony overlooking the large lawn to the front of the villa. In addition to the room and its bathroom, guests can freely access the park, the shared kitchen and the shared ironing room. On request guests can also use the dining room and living rooms, all in common with the host. The villa is also equipped with open private parking. The hosts are available to both Italian and foreign guests to provide guidance and advice on cultural, sports and recreational activities in the area. English, German and French are spoken. The two hosts are a landscaper and garden expert, and a conductor, choirmaster and music teacher. Sant'Ambrogio is a delightful little village above the town of Varese. At its centre, among the narrow streets of low-roofed houses, is a small Romanesque church. The village itself is surrounded by beautiful villas, mostly of the early twentieth century, each with its own grounds, one of which, Villa Töeplitz, is now an immense public park famous for its water features. The village has everything you need: convenience store, charcuterie, butcher, baker, bank, post office, tobacconist, pastry shop, restaurants and pizzerias. For those who prefer not to use the car, Sant'Ambrogio is well connected with the delightful center of Varese by bus and equally well connected with Monte Sacro (a UNESCO heritage site) and Campo dei Fiori (height 1200 meters) which are destinations for magnificent walks and bike rides. We are three kilometers from the famous Villa Panza and its collection of contemporary art which is under the ownership of FAI. It is open all year round and the Villa Panza park is also worth a visit. There are also many trekking routes in the nearby woods (we are located on the border with the Campo dei Fiori Regional Park) and around Lake Varese. The bus stop for the center of Varese and, in the opposite direction, to Sacro Monte and Campo dei Fiori (the most "popular" destinations in the surroundings) is five minutes from our home. The Public Park of Villa Töeplitz is just a ten-minute walk away. There are two very good, well-behaved dogs in the house. Smoking is prohibited throughout the property.
