Early check-in depending on availability. Unfortunately, no children. Serpentine-y is nestled in the picturesque and serene Serpentine hills. 1hr from Perth, this boutique equestrian farm is an ideal escape. The modern accommodation includes a private grassed area to soak up the tranquillity. The farm backs onto the Serpentine National Park and is a short walk from Serpentine Falls and Munda Biddi trails. Perfect for a quiet, restful weekend or for those explorers with an adventurous spirit! The luxurious caravan is fresh and bright. Large windows overlook sparkling dams and extensive paddocks of grazing horses. In the evening, expect to be visited by kangaroos and to awake to the calls of native birdlife. The fairy-lit hedged grassed area provides the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset over the valley and to stargaze the clear sky at night. Highlights: - An abundance of wildlife e.g. birds, kangaroos, seasonal wildflowers - Your own private paddock to explore off the main driveway - Hiking and cycling trails on your doorstep (popular trails included in a map for your access during your stay) - Horse riding trails from the back gate as well as arenas It is important to note the following things: - This is a rural property and phone/TV reception is limited - There are unfenced dams and water troughs, hence this property is not suitable for children - The setting is a working equestrian property – expect to hear farm vehicles and horses going about their routine - Our horses are for competition and, whilst you are welcome to pat them across the fence if they approach, we ask that you do not crawl through paddocks for your own safety and comfort If you are a fellow equestrian, there is the opportunity to bring your own horse for a short-term stay. Please contact Jane if you are interested in this option. We will be happy to provide assistance or help during your stay. There is a comprehensive guide for you to utilise, however, we are just a mobile phone call away. Nearby attractions include: - Millbrook Winery - Jarrahdale Tavern - Lane Poole Park Tree Top High Ropes Course - Serpentine Dam - Serpentine Falls - Munda Biddi Cycling Trail - Hiking trails including Kitty's Gorge The farm is accessible by car. Be aware that the access road and driveway are gravel. We encourage you to bring bicycles or hiking shoes to explore the abundance of marked and unmarked trails at your doorstep in the magnificent Serpentine National Park.
