Welcome to the Hippy Hut!! Where you should expect the unexpected! Your stay here will be unlike any other. With many games to play and activities to keep you busy, you surely won’t get bored here! Hang out in hammocks, heat up the sauna, sit around fires indoors or out, all year long. Located in central New Jersey, there are many local attractions, as well as great road trip opportunities less then an hours drive. Bring your camera because you won’t be able to describe it! The hut will provide you with just about everything you need and plenty of things you never knew you needed! There is a surprise around every corner just waiting to be discovered! Disinfectant wipes, spray, and hand sanitizer are always available in the hut. With an outhouse, camping stove, and a heated outdoor shower, you’ll be able to connect with your hippy self! A futon for 2, couch, sleeping pads/air mattress will provide you a good night sleep. Pillows, blankets, sheets, and towels are all supplied for your convenience. Mini fridge to keep the important things cold and a coffee machine to heat things up a bit with coffee and tea provided. Hand built, wood burning cedar barrel sauna. Reaching temps into the 180’s make sure you drink plenty of water and prepare yourself for a cold shower! The happy coup of free range chickens will provide you with fresh eggs and a friendly coo every morning. There are dried mealworms treats supplied for feeding by hand or tossed. Fresh drinking water is supplied but bringing your own is important. There is firewood available. I always suggest to my guest to bring an extra dry bundle of wood. There are fire starter bricks supplied. I have a blow up kayak for 2 available upon request to explore nearby lakes. There is a maximum of 4 guests permitted, there are no visitors allowed. This cozy hexagonal hut is sure to please. 20 minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure, 30 minutes to the beach, walking distance to a local winery and New Jersey’s Field of Terror. Also minutes from Assunpink Wildlife Management Area, it is a great location for anyone looking to explore New Jersey. The hut is surrounded by tall trees keeping it cool in the summer.
