Château with a splendid view

This 18th century house lies in the midst of our own prairie land and forests. In the West your view overlooks the Loire valley towards the horizon, with no neighbours in sight. The Château offers a swimming pool and a pond, and can house up to 20 The Château de Vigneau is a privately owned house, that we make available to guests from time to time. There is almost unlimited space around the house. There is a pool, close to the house in the old vegetable garden - but far enough to provide peace to those who prefer sitting in the baroque garden on the other side of the house. You come here just to find tranquillity. To take a walk in the beautiful forest. To play golf or tennis in the neighbouring town. Or to visit all the famous historic sites and vineyards of Burgundy. We only rent the house to one leaser at a time. You can welcome up to 20 guests in 11 rooms, equipped with 8 bathrooms (5 en-suite). The 2 living rooms (both equipped with fireplaces) and the large dining room offer plenty of space for everybody to spend cosy evenings inside. There is even a room which we use as an office. So if you cannot avoid working - enjoy doing it in front of the fireplace, overlooking the Loire valley. The entire house is at your disposal! As we will be in Germany during your stay, we will probably communicate only via phone. For all your questions, there is a friendly housekeeper in the auxiliary building who takes care of the gardens and the pool, who speaks French or Portuguese. Even though the house stands alone and the view is not disturbed by neighbouring buildings, the charming town of Bourbon-Lancy is just 2 km away. There, you will find all the necessary amenities, such as shops, restaurants, a public pool, tennis courts, a golf course, a cinema and a small thermal bath with a long history. The "voir verte", a cycle track on a former railway line, is very close. Furthermore, the nearby Loire river is ideal for canoeing trips. You need a car to reach Le Vigneau. There is a small railway station at hand from where you can travel directly to Lyon - but just with a handful of trains every day. Lyon airport (Saint Exupéry) is 2 hours away, the next TGV station 1 hour. Here, all generations, big families and groups of friends can spend their holidays together. Still, everybody can find a quiet place to withdraw if needed.
