Casa do Cocheiro is a stark yet cosy studio with a double bed, a full bathroom with shower and a kitchen area with a bar and highstools for meals, there is a cupboard with all the necessary utensils for basic cooking. It also has outdoor furniture that can be moved to enjoy meals in any corner of the garden. The accommodation is situated in a farm with large fields planted with centenary olive trees, located on the north bank of the river Tagus, in a quiet and isolated area 1 km from the historic Vila de Constância. The house is located within Quinta do Pinhal, which consists of a vast area of land that allows long and calm walks to the most active guests, but it also has a very pleasant pool area with a large terrace and an inviting lawn for the enjoyment of those who come to relax and lie under the sun. Two barbecue areas in the garden and a laundry room are also part of the facilities you can find here. Visits to agricultural areas and interacting with our farm animals is allowed and encouraged when accompanied by one of the owners. You can participate and learn from our daily activities: milking the goats, vegetable garden tasks, feeding the pigs or visiting the horses are some of the activities in which you can participate. If you are looking for a peaceful break, away from stress and routine, this traditional Portuguese farmhouse provides a pleasant and cosy atmosphere, ideal for a family vacation or a romantic getaway in the tranquillity of a bucolic and uncomplicated environment. The accommodation is located 1.5 km from the historic village of Constância, in a quiet area with no neighbours. The common areas of the Quinta are shared with other guests and with us. The number of people in the property is always limited to 30 and the large outdoor spaces and independent accommodations provide privacy and security. We are located less than an hour from Lisbon and 40 minutes from the beach (Peniche/Nazaré), there are also several riverside beaches in the area and many cultural and historical landmarks nearby (Almourol, Tomar, Batalha, Fátima, Coimbra, Óbidos...). Right in the heart of the country, the farm is very well communicated by the A1 (Porto-Lisbon), A23 (Lisbon-Spain) and A2 (Faro-Lisbon). The best way to get around the Quinta is by car. Parking area is inside the property and is free.
