Recently refurbished to a high standard by a local Spanish interior designer, this space is unique and welcoming. The idea is to embrace the blue of the ocean and relax away from home. Whether it’s to work remotely for a period of time, as I do, or to enjoy some special time with friends and loved ones, this place has a lot to offer. It’s away from the tourist crowds, loud discos and noisy roads, but not short of things to offer. Radazul has some dramatic architecture, with the mountain rock behind the buildings. There are three entrances to this building: through the garage, from the ground floor or from the road above, where a gate will let you in through the top floor. Plenty to do if you drive, but plenty to do if you don’t want to go far: there are 5 restaurants and bars within walking distance, a pharmacy, a shopping centre and a supermarket. The local beach, a few minutes’ walk away, is absolutely gorgeous and it’s considered one of the best areas to swim, snorkel and scuba dive. Why not learning to dive with an official PADI course from one of the local diving schools? We are LGBTQ+ friendly! You will have exclusive access to the entire apartment. There is also a reserved parking space in the garage in the basement, with a lift to take you to the apartment. I normally live in the UK, but spend some time in Tenerife. I’m readily available on my phone and (Hidden by Airbnb) to help guests in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. On-site, you will be in Barbara’s capable hands from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Barbara lives 15 minutes’ drive away. This is a quiet area, popular with locals. Away from the crowds of tourists, Radazul is famous for its breathtaking views of the ocean. The apartment is a few minutes’ walk away from the local beach “La Nea”. This is probably the best area on the island to swim, snorkel and scuba dive. Easy access to the capital Santa Cruz, university and entertainment centre of La Laguna, the wonderful prehistorical and world unique forest of Anaga, the Teide volcano and both North and South motorways. Radazul is about 40 min drive from the South airport and 20 from the North airport. A car is recommended, although the area is served by local buses. Within walking distance, there is the beach, a number of restaurants, a pharmacy, a shopping centre with a supermarket. The place is protected by a Securitas alarm system. You will have a key fob to arm and disarm the alarm. For your security, there are smoke and carbon monoxide detectors inside the house, connected to the alarm. Any trouble is reported to the monitoring station. There are cameras which would take pictures if something was triggered. For your privacy, you can easily disable the cameras, if you prefer. You will be shown how to do that when you check in.
