Enjoy the Lake and Art in this spacious apartment

Renovated in 2021, this apartment in a house dating back to 1902 has charm, quirks and offers both a fantastic view and a lot of space. Decorated for comfort, this place wants to seduce you to relax and unwind and enjoy the stunning beauty of Lake Constance. There are three apartments in this house. Your apartment is on the first floor (2nd floor for our US friends), another holiday apartment is on the second floor and our parents-in-law Veronica and Peter live on the ground floor. They are the guardians of the garden and will help you with anything you might need (honestly, they are super sweet people). Street Parking is free overnight and on Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise, for CHF 5 (ca. USD 5) you can park on small parking lot next door. Alternatively, you can take a train and bus ride here. Check the SBB-App for the most comfortable route. Quiet, quaint and very safe and friendly. Greeting everyone on the street is common and appreciated. There is a former monastery right next door with beautiful public gardens. You'll be hearing a lot of church bells. Great views of the hills, the lake, the town. We love it here. The trains are awesome here. You're in 13min in St.Gallen! And you can take a local bus from the train station to our house if the 10min walk is too annoying (especially, because you've brought a lot of luggage :-). We've got new windows, electricity, heating, plumbing, kitchen, bathrooms, paint, furniture. But it still is an old, old house. The floors creak. There is no elevator. You are sharing this house with my parents in law and possibly another guest on the floor above you. Please be mindful of that.
