Welcome to a musical art home, studio and shop. This enchanting, charming bed room boasts memory foam floating on antique painted full sized bed...a dreamy place to be at peace. Lovely desk to comfortably use fast WiFi; and 30” smart TV with Netflix. Common parlor is filled with books, art, piano, guitar, uke, board games...many things to make your stay delightful. Coffee, tea, breakfast snacks and street parking are always free; as is the kind hospitality. We are pet friendly and flexible. This 1900 era Victorian home and studio shop is filled with art, antiques, books, and instruments. Eclectically decorated by the singer songwriter, stained glass artist and jewelry designer, home owner, Cynthia. Located in a quiet neighborhood in uptown; north of interstate 81. Five minute Uber drive to downtown Capital, HACC, Farm Show Convention Center. Common Space Parlor filled with art, books, games, and musical instruments to relax with. Shared spacious and tidy bathroom with hand held shower head and fresh linens is next to your room. Front door opens to parlor and stairs are access the Faerie Retreat Room and Bath. Kitchen and laundry available upon request. I am most always flexible and available. Please just ask for whatever you need as I have been a resident musician and stained glass artist of Harrisburg over 30 years. Within 2-3 miles, to The Capital, HACC, farm show complex, and many other Harrisburg attractions. Close access to I-83. Harrisburg Airport, Appellation Trail, Hershey Park and Hershey Medical Center are only 20 minutes away. Carlisle is 25 minutes. Within 45 minutes to Amish country (Lancaster) and historic Gettysburg. Plenty of free street parking and/or park on property. CAT Bus service within the block, and close access to route 81 and 83. Uber drive to Capital, Farm Show Complex, or train stain, 2-3 miles. 20 minutes to Harrisburg Airport and Hershey Attractions. 30 minutes to Carlisle and Lancaster. Gentle pets, dog and cats, for your friendly therapy and companionship. Your pet may be welcome too, just ask. We also offer pet sitting services at very reasonable rates, if needed. An art and antique studio filled with custom stained glass for your pa rousing and purchase. Board games, movies, piano and other instruments are available for playing. Just ask, and the hostess will entertain. As a singer songwriter, I have 2 CDs pressed with my band, Sofeya and the Puffins. Plenty of free street parking.
