We have more pitches available.. check us out online. Please read on for more info about our lovely little campsite. We are a small, friendly campsite in the beautiful Devon countryside but ideally situated only a five minutes drive away from the centre of Exeter and the University, a mile to the local pub and we are also near shops, beaches, Dartmoor etc. We aim to provide a relaxed camping experience, not the usual crammed in campsite. Well behaved dogs are welcome (max 2 per pitch unless discussed first & must be kept on leads as we have free range chickens), there is a fire pit area to sit by and chill out and we don’t mind bbqs (off the ground). Max 6 people per pitch. Pup tents and small/medium sized gazebos/awnings welcome but please let us know what you’re planning to put on your pitch before booking so we can make sure you have enough room and so do other guests. Minimum stay one night out of school holidays/2 nights minimum stay in school holidays. Please find us online (exeter view stables camping) for more photos/info/booking questions etc.... This is one of six of our bring your own tent/camper/caravan (single axle/small only) camping pitches. The price includes two people in one tent. If there are more in your group please add these guests when booking (£5 per extra guest per night. Under 2’s free). If you have a very large tent please check first to see if we can accommodate you. Eco, off grid.. 100% powered by the sun. Pleasant facilities... Compost loos (don't worry even the harshest compost loo cynics have loved ours!!). Lovely hot showers (free to use). Good sized pitches and lovely small site so never crammed. Level pitches, mown regularly. Loads of wildlife and amazing views over the hills, city, estuary etc. Fires and BBQs welcome (off the ground). Washing up area, changing room, phone/laptop charging point. Great 3/4G signal. Eggs/firewood/chocolate etc for sale (subject to availability). Check in anytime from 1pm.. if we are out you can access with a code. Check out 11am. Relaxed, chilled vibe. Bins and recycling point. Local pub only a ten minute walk away. Lots of shops, restaurants, beaches, tourist attractions nearby. Hammock and swing under the tree. Some fire braziers available to have on your pitch (subject to availability). Water point (our water comes from a borehole.. we love it but you may prefer to bring your own drinking water). Fire pit area. (communal). Please respect other guests and neighbours peace.. sorry no parties/ big groups. We allow our guests to have visitors but they must vacate the site by 7pm unless previously arranged. If your guest would like to stay any later than 7pm or for the night please let us know before 7pm. Amazing views... we are sure you will not be disappointed !! Parking by the side of your tent etc is fine, but if you come home late at night please be as quiet as possible as not to wake up other guests. If you have more than one vehicle please contact prior to booking to make sure we have space. One car is included in price. We may ask you to park away from your car in busy periods but this is only a short walk away in the same field. PLEASE NOTE WE AREN'T ALWAYS AT HOME BUT WE WILL GIVE YOU A KEY CODE TO COME AND GO AS YOU PLEASE. (PLEASE LOCK THE GATE AT ANY TIME YOU COME IN OR LEAVE AND SCRAMBLE THE CODE). IF WE DON'T SEE YOU WHEN YOU ARRIVE PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME.. WE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHICH PITCH YOU ARE ON BEFORE ARRIVAL AND COME AND SAY HI WHEN WE GET HOME. We are only two miles from the heart of the city of Exeter and the University. Beaches/moors/estuary etc nearby. Lots of local tourist attractions close by and local pub/pubs. We will give you a key code for the gate when you book. Please lock the gate at any point that you come in or leave. Many thanks x
