The cottage is designed to sit quietly on its beautiful hillside site, making the very best of its stunning location. Stylishly outfitted, you’ll find a truly relaxing space to unwind and take in the gorgeous vistas of Northern NSW, surrounded by peace and solitude. Guests are welcome to explore our property-as long as you take a carrot or two to share with Ant, Ted and Bentley, our resident horses. Under the same roof as the main house but separated by the carport, your cottage is completely self contained with everything needed for a lovely comfortable stay. Enjoy simply sublime views by day and sit under a full blanket of stars at night. Take a dip in the pool or bikkies and nibblies on your own deck-it's up to you. We're here if you need us but otherwise will leave you to thoroughly enjoy your stay. Strolling around rural Piggabeen is just gorgeous no matter the time of year. It’s one of those lovely places where drivers will wave as they pass. In addition to cattle, horses, sheep, goats and alpacas, look out for kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidnas, kookaburras, lorikeets and wedge tailed eagles-to name just a few. We are far enough away to offer a true escape yet close enough to easily reach (15 minutes) all the amenities of Tweed Heads and Coolangatta eg Gold Coast Airport, world famous beaches, cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. Use Taliesin as your base to discover destinations further afield-Byron Bay and Nimbin are an easy 45 minutes away, as are the Gold Coast theme parks and Surfers Paradise.
