Beach House Lodge in the Isle of Wight
Our luxurious modern lodge offers far reaching views of Thorness Bay and provides the perfect base for walking, cycling, exploring the Isle of Wight or simply a place to get away from it all. Hidden away in a secluded area of Thorness Bay Holiday Park, only a stone's throw from the onsite children's play area and coastal path down to the rustic bay. Spacious and well equipped with an open plan living area leading out onto a large deck, a utility room, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite). ON SITE FACILITIES Whilst the park remains open 12 months of the year, the bar/restaurant, entertainment complex, shop and fish & chip shop close for the winter season, which is between November and March. *THORNESS BAY HOLIDAY PARK PASSES ARE NOT INCLUDED* You can purchase them from reception on arrival during open season (April to October). There’s something for everyone and any weather and the lodge is right near the coastal path so there’s no excuse! There are some lovely esplanade walks, which are great with the kids (and maybe their scooter!) or people using a wheelchair or mobility scooter. Our faves are Gurnard to Cowes (there’s a children’ play area at Gurnard and an ice-cream hut just over half way to Cowes), Bonchurch to Ventnor or Yaverland to Shanklin. When I get time I’ll list all my favorite coastal walks in here. If you would like any suggestions while you’re here, drop me a text.
