Edgebrook bdr by golf course

Beautiful private bedroom (1 of 2) in a ranch style home, you have full access to everything on the ground floor including living room, kitchen, and bathroom (shared if there is a tenant in the second bedroom). I live in the basement level and have my own space and will only share the kitchen with you. During the Covid crisis, I may limit to one room rented at a time as to keep exposure to others at a minimum depending on current conditions, all guests must be vaccinated. Stay in one of two bedrooms in a quiet, upscale Edgebrook house across from the Billy Caldwell public golf course. This is the smaller of the two bedrooms available and is furnished with a very comfortable full size bed and ample closet space, great for extended stay or just a short visit or a few days of golf across the street. There is ample street parking and two parking ports available for your use. I occupy the lower floor of the home and we share the kitchen. There is one bathroom for the two bedrooms and you will have to share it if both rooms are rented. You will have use of the living room/dining room furnished with flat screen tv and cable and wi-fi. The kitchen is modern complete with stainless steel appliances and dishwasher and there are laundry machines available for your use downstairs. Relax in the backyard with lawn chairs and tables when the weather is nice. Basic breakfast will be included for stays one week or less. This house is just 10 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, 5 minute walk from the Metra line that goes straight downtown. There are 2 parking ports available so you don't need to park on the streets. We are just 12 minute drive downtown in no traffic and 15 minutes away from Evanston, 15 minutes from O'Hare airport. This is a great location just off of I-94 and centrally located, close to any part of Chicago. Edgebrook has several nice restaurants, homemade ice cream shop, an Irish pub, hardware store, hair salons, and many other amenities just a 1/4 mile away. There are also nice bike and hiking trails in the neighborhood. I have lived in Chicago for over 17 years and as a professional musician, I can direct you to some of the best local spots for music of all genres, best restaurants in Chicagoland area, and give you a local flavor of the town. Your private room, shared bathroom, first floor living room/dining room, shared kitchen, back yard, and use of washer/dryer in the basement. Across the street from golf course, a 7-minute walk from small downtown Edgebrook with local shops, grocery, bar, coffee, ice cream shop, post office and Metra station. Quiet residential neighborhood. Metra stop is a 7 minute walk away and takes you to Union Station downtown in 40 minutes. Blue line train is about 8 minute Uber ride away that takes you directly downtown or O'Hare airport in 25-30 minutes. Bus routes have changed since Covid and there is no longer a direct bus that goes to the Red line now. Parking is free and readily available on side street and there is one spot in front of the house. Downtown Edgebrook is a 7 minute walk away and has Starbucks, grocery store, and some restaurants and bars.
