Southfield Annexe

Large private detached house overlooking the sea in a quirky market town renowned for its food and eateries. We are walking distance to the southwest coastal path and harbour of Westbay also Bridport Town. The Annexe is accessible from the side of Southfield and is completely self contained and guests are welcome to use the garden decking and patio areas. Great for short breaks or weekly stays throughout the year and is perfect for 1-3 people. The Annexe is bright and airy and is offered as a self catered unit This space is around the rear of the main house. The Annexe leads around to a very large decking area which has sea and country views. Guests are also welcome to use the patio areas to the front of the house with coastal views. The Annexe is attached to the rear of the house so we can be contacted very easily but tend to leave guests to their own devices, this said we are always available for a chat and we have a wealth of local knowledge! Bridport and West Bay has a host of excellent restaurants and quirky shops . There are market days Wednesday and Saturdays and a number of antiquities-shops in several lanes behind the main drag. West bay harbour is very picturesque along with the cliff area where Broadchurch and Harbour lights were filmed. Bridport and Westbay Golf Club is 1/2 mile away and we are on the scenic coast road to Abbotsburyand Weymouth also Chesil Beach. We have the nearby Sports and Leisure Centre with an indoor swimming pool along with fitness classes and gym facilities for guests wanting to work out! We have off street parking and a friendly taxi company, a local bus runs every hour in season along the coast road and further bus services can be found in Town. Dorchester,Axminster and Crewkerne railway stations are all connectible with local buses.
