Formerly The Dutch Station. A home away from home in beautiful North Canterbury area. This modern, private unit has two bedrooms, lounge and fully self contained kitchen. Sky television and free Wifi are available. We are just off State Highway 7, down a short gravel road and once you arrive, you will be in awe of the surroundings. Very peaceful and relaxing. Or soak in the spa pool while soaking up the views. The apartment is spacious with modern furnishings plus there is a portacot and childrens' toys. There is plenty of parking with easy access to the unit. We are wheelchair friendly. Please feel free to walk around the property or just sit and admire the view of the mountains from the private verandah. Janine is always on hand to answer any questions that you may have. Because we are situated in Rural Canterbury, which makes Bentleys Country Stay an ideal spot, there is a Four Square shop in the village of Hawarden to stock up on supplies. There is also a Countdown Supermarket in Amberley for supplies. Hawarden Tavern and Cafe is a friendly place to visit with meals available. There is a 24 hour fuel stop in the village for refuelling your vehicle. For the cooler nights there is underfloor heating to keep you warm. Unlimited WIFI is available for your use as is Sky television.
