Dittisham Creative Hideaway at Coombe Farm Studios

The Long Barn is located on site at Coombe Farm Studios, a small scale centre for creativity. Located 1 mile from the village of Dittisham it is a tranquil space ideal for family or friends to spend time together. Rooms are laid out in a long corridor with bathrooms at the end and a large living room space and fully fitted kitchen is ideal for everyone to spend time eating and relaxing together by the open fire in winter or sitting outside in the garden by the stream when the weather is nice! Feel free to help yourself to fresh herbs and vegetables in the vegetable garden and eggs from the chickens. There are gorgeous walks in all areas from Coombe, its a real haven to get away from the stresses and strains of urban centres and fully relax. Guests have access to the car park and steps to the Long Barn as well as outdoor areas opposite the Long Barn to include stream, outdoor seating areas and fire pit. Coombe is a working space where artists access studio spaces including a pottery, print workshop, painting and yoga studio. I live on site here with my husband and two children (aged 10 and 6) so I'm here to help if needed, at the same time we're all involved in the Studios so you'll have space and peace to enjoy your time here. Coombe is located in a small lush green valley with gorgeous walks all around. The nearest shop is in the village of Dittisham - 1 mile away - where there is also a fantastic fish restaurant and two pubs. The nearest towns are Totnes and Dartmouth, both with lots of lovely shops, galleries, restaurants and bars. The nearby beaches range from picturesque sandy beaches to wild and rugged coastline and spots to surf (Bantham) and SUP. There is no public transport in the area, so you will need a car (we have plenty of free parking) It is possible to cycle but the lanes are tiny and the hills are steep!
