Cosy Glen Afton cottage (near Raglan)

The refurbished 1920's miner's character cottage is situated in Glen Afton village, a quiet pretty country setting. The location is an easy drive to many popular tourist destinations and cities and perfect as a home base. The Bush Tramway club, Waingaro Hot Springs are nearby and popular Raglan surf Beach about a 40 minute drive. The cottage is fully furnished and on a large flat section with ample parking. Internet is wireless and unlimited. Host will happily assist guests to enjoy their stay. The house has a very relaxing, cosy feel about it away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are French doors onto the deck and in summer it is perfect for a barbecue. The section is large so you could park your boat and trailer, cycles or leave kayaks on the section. At night it is quiet and restful, no noisy traffic. The cottage is not suitable for toddlers and babies, the section is not fenced on three sides and the deck is also not enclosed. Guest have the use of the whole house which is fully furnished. If guests need assistance during their stay I am happy to help as much as possible Glen Afton is a quiet rural setting in a part of New Zealand that is unique. You would need your own transport to stay here as it is away from public bus routes. The cottage is 15 minutes away from the nearest supermarket, petrol station and banks etc. The cottage is fully furnished with towels provided and also has a microwave, coffee machine, TV and DVD player, WiFi, popcorn maker, toasted sandwich maker, barbecue and smoothie blender.
