2 Tufton Mews is a luxury 2 bedroom flat at the rear of The Tufton Arms Hotel which is a small, intimate, luxury hotel, situated in the centre of the historic, medieval town of Appleby-in-Westmorland. The flat has 2 ensuite bedrooms and a large spacious lounge/ kitchen/diner which also has a sofa bed. Appleby is an ideal base for walking, cycling, fishing, golf and all country sports. Explore the Eden Valley, North Pennines AONB, Lake District, Yorkshire and Westmorland Dales. Situated bang in the middle of the beautiful old historic town of Appleby, on the main street Boroughgate with its ancient Church and Castle at either end and council chambers in the middle where William Pitt once sat. Just stroll out to 7 pubs and bars, shops, supermarket and all facilities. The town is built within a loop of the famous River Eden and there is excellent free fishing on the town waters. Excellent moorland golf course. Surrounded by the Eden Valley and North Pennines AONB, short drive to Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. As well as your apartment there are the hotel facilities of our Hotel Bar with real ale, The Conservatory Restaurant, Garden Patio, Wine Shop. You will need a car or there is a train station on the famous Settle-Carlisle line 5 min walk from the hotel or a short taxi ride. The apartment is on the first floor up a short flight of stairs. There are 2 ensuite bedrooms one of which can be set as a large double or twin beds. (Please let us know) There is a good quality sofa bed in the lounge/diner and we are dog friendly.
