Tranquility in Beach Haven

Our beautiful home is truly unique and captivates those who stay with us. Our place is quiet and tranquil, set in a tropical garden, about 250m from the beach, close to public transport, bush walks and family-friendly activities. You’ll love our place, the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the neighbourhood. Our place is good for families, couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. You will be welcomed at our entrance by the gentle sound of water trickling over a water feature and a garden "nursery" planted to host our beautiful Monarch butterflies, where they lay their young on the Swan plants which provide food for the growing caterpillars. As you step into our beautiful piece of paradise, your attention will be grasped by the beauty of the natural bush visible through our large folding doors. Stepping out onto the deck, you will be enveloped by the many fragrances from the garden. The sound of bees busily buzzing from flower to flower, the birds echoing their calls and butterflies flitting from flower to flower. You will find yourself in another world, away from the busy hustle and bustle of the outside world. Your bedroom has also been carefully and simply designed to encapsulate the natural beauty our home is set in. A double bed with silk and feather pillows, a soft down duvet and quality linen to add that extra bit of luxury to your stay with us. There is a beautiful bathroom with a shower and separate toilet which is shared. You are also welcome to use our kitchen, dining room, lounge and deck area, where you can relax and enjoy our lovely garden. Our garden is a beautiful, tranquil place overlooking natural bush. The sounds of birds in the bush, the wind whistling through the trees and the cicada's chirping, a special place to relax and enjoy the garden. You may be fortunate enough to have the pleasure of seeing the Rosellas nesting at the bottom of our garden. Tea and coffee is available for you to help yourself. We will provide you with a key to gain access in and out of our home and you will have a key to your own room. You are welcome to use our kitchen, dining room, lounge and sit out on our deck where you can enjoy our beautiful garden. We enjoy spending time with our guests when the opportunity arises, but are sensitive to their desire for privacy and relaxation without obligation to interact. We live in a beautiful part of the city, known as the hidden gem of Auckland, a mere 15 minutes from the city. A quaint village with cafes, lovely walks and parks in the vicinity. The main bus route is less than 10 minutes walk from our home and a ferry to the city is a 20 minute walk. There is ample street parking available in our neighbourhood if you have a vehicle. There is a second luxury bedroom that forms part of our Airbnb. We also host working travellers from time to time who help us with tasks around our home in exchange for food and accommodation. Our home is well designed to accommodate a sometimes busy household, and yet still remains tranquil and peaceful.
