In the heart of Klaksvík

The cozy, bright and convenient apartment is in the center of Klaksvík. You can enjoy the sun on the terrace and in the garden from early morning until late evening during the summer months. The apartment is within walking distance to a bakery, shopping, café's, restaurant and swimming pool with spa facilities. Klaksvík is centrally situated in the Nordic islands, where you find the beautiful steep mountains and Europe’s steepest cape. There are no stairs in the apartment, the bed size is 160 cm. The kitchen is well equipped, with microwave oven, freezer, coffee machine etc. Since the apartment is in the basement in a family home the garden will shared. The apartment has its own separate terrace with tables and chairs. The guests are most welcome to write for any advice and help both before and during the stay. Though the apartment is in the center of Klaksvík the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Within 10 min. walking distance you are in the middle of the nature surrounded by steep mountains and the ocean, hearing the rich bird life and sensing the rich nature. If you take another direction and walk 10 min. we recommend a visit to Cafe Fríða, where you can sit on the terrace overviewing the firth or inside in the warm and cozy cafe enjoying the homemade soup or cakes. We also recommend the creatively decorated Café Jaqson, where you can sit comfortably enjoying the area with the church and the city life passing by. At the café you can enjoy the brunch, Jacqson burger and homemade cakes. In town there are free city buses. the bus is 4 min. away. The buses to other towns and island is only 7 min. walking distance. In the apartment you will find brochures with the bus time table etc.
