Great hike for the fit to Mount Suberbus where a plane crashed in the 50s with pilot nurse and baby on board. Spring creek restaurant on the crest of the magnificent valley of The Head ,which is the birth of the Great Murray Darling System. Your choice is to walk to the village five minutes where we have coffee shop, newsagent , ATM , butcher , food works, garage, hardware, chemist, post office open Saturdays till 3pm. Also great Vinnies store. Vintage store and pool in the summer. Car necessary for all other movement. No taxi or bus service in Killarney We are constantly having events in our region for instance this weekend 11/12 August the Killarney rodeo We have stable for horse and room for float and paddock just five mins from show grounds. Also we have an event called Waddle and Saddle which is a weekend of walking or riding the fourteen crossings up the gorge road to The Head again five mins from our home. World Cup polo cross next year in Warwick in April.
