Spacious and bright throughout, the master bedroom enjoys a luxury king-size bed, stylish furnishings, a modern en-suite shower room and a Velux window above the bed to allow light to flood into the room. The second bedroom contains two lovely single beds and also enjoys the benefits of a modern en-suite and a Velux window. The main living area contains a beautiful, modern kitchen, dining area and a sumptuous sitting area with 40 inch, wall-mounted TV, the whole room is bathed in a lovely light from the three Velux windows giving a bright and cheery feeling to this delightful room. French doors lead out to the spacious garden area, an ideal spot to sit, relax and enjoy an evening tipple and watch the dog roll around in the grass. There is also a public footpath leading to the beautiful Ribble Valley just next to the property. Once we have welcomed you and shown you the cottage, we won't interrupt your holiday but will be on hand should you wish to find out more about what The Ribble Valley has to offer. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a short drive from the magnificent Forest of Bowland, this is a wonderful base to get away from it all, take in the peaceful surroundings and enjoy the luxury of this holiday home. From its lovely country surroundings, enjoying the horses grazing in the attached meadow, to its high-quality fixtures and luxurious interior, this is one not to be missed. A great area, largely unspoilt and steeped in history, with a Roman museum and ruins, great gastropubs around every corner, and a fabulous spa just a few miles drive. Nearby Longridge, described by the Sunday Times in 2015 as ‘big on character’ and listed in their ‘101 Best Places To Live In Britain’, is also just a short drive away. A short walk from the cottage is a renowned Indian restaurant offering authentic cuisine and a superb, friendly service. Nearby Ribchester is a real treasure, a thriving community with three great pubs, the River Ribble meandering its way down the valley and a host of shops for a lovely day out. With excellent road links to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales plus one of the most scenic drives in the country, through the Forest of Bowland to Lancaster, this holiday home provides a great place to really enjoy this much loved area. There are local buses that run right by the cottage, with the nearest train station only 5 minutes away. We only accept bookings for 2 nights or more. If you're flying into the UK we are close to Manchester International Airport (43 miles), with Liverpool Airport (50 miles) also providing easy access from many European cities. Ramsgreave train station is 3 miles away (approximately a 5 minute drive). Trains run on the hour to Manchester City Centre (Victoria). Preston mainline rail station serves Lancaster (40mins), Glasgow (2hrs) and London Euston (2hrs 8mins). We are sorry but we DO NOT ACCEPT PETS in any of our Holiday Cottage. Regards access, it is important to note that our property is not adapted for wheelchair users. Sunnyside Shreyas Cottage is entirely at ground floor level so is ideal for elderly holidaymakers, although there are no grab rails in the property or the main bathroom.
