The Carpenter's Hut - situated in Cadgwith Cove with amazing views - a light airy space for two people with the character of a traditional wooden hut built originally for the local carpenter. As you approach the village of Cadgwith you will find The Carpenter`s Hut situated just 200 yards away from the beach. Set back from the road this cottage was originally built as the old carpenter`s shop. What a lucky carpenter! You wonder how any work was done as the views of the sea, the beach and the cliffs are second to none. Your pastime will be watching the fishing boats set sail or simply observing the seagulls flying by. With convenient parking just outside and both a small garden and patio area this is just the spot for a very relaxing holiday. If you feel you can leave this lovely place then it is also easy to travel further afield to see Cornwall`s treasures. The Carpenter`s Hut has been recently renovated and refurbished and so provides very comfortable accommodation with views from every window.ACCOMMODATION: ENTRANCE: GROUND FLOOR: OPEN PLAN LIVING AREA: KITCHEN AREA fully equipped with electric hob and oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave. DINING AREA: with table and chairs. LOUNGE AREA: with comfortable sofa, TV and DVD player. DOWNSTAIRS to DOUBLE BEDROOM: with raised cabin style bed. Door leads to lower garden area. SHOWER ROOM: with walk in shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail. GARDEN/PATIO: with outdoor table and chairs. HEATING: electric heating. PARKING: private off-road space beside the entrance to the property. SPECIAL NOTES: Towels provided. This cottage is unsuitable for the infirm as the stairs are narrow and steep and the bed is a raised cabin style bed. We have a caretaker who can look after any problems or any questions you may have. Cadgwith Cove itself has a great pub - the Cadgwith Cove Inn, the Old Cellars Cafe and a shop selling fresh fish, crab and lobster. Only a short walk away is Ruan Minor with a grocery and cafe. Ideal for walking the Cornish coastal path. You can take walks to the Lizard or Mullion and there is a brilliant bus and taxi service in case you go too far!
