Kubu Reod Homestay - Kubu Betenan

This uniquely designed rustic cottage is built from recycled thick wood that has been treated and recreated into a beautiful Balinese house with Javanese influence. The cottage blends in with the natural surroundings and is located 15km away from Lovina beach and 15 minutes to the Singaraja town centre by scooter. It is strategically placed to capture the sunrise in the early hours of the morning and the green rice terrace. I live in Sydney Australia, but when I’m traveling to Bali I love to spend my time here at home in Singaraja, it is right in the middle of the rice farm, with beautiful mountain view even tho it’s 15 minutes away from the city centre but it is feel like in the middle of no where. I love it here because sometime I get to mingle with the local farmers who love to visit our cottage for a little coffee break. Overall I love blissful and quiet place to relax, swimming in the pool that the water came from the local water spring not recycle and we reuse this water for gardening, if I need massage I can just call for an in house service 🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹 The best way you could get to our Homestay from Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar) is to hire a car. It should take about 3hrs to our Homestay, we can assist you with this if organised prior. A car should cost Rp500K – Rp600K each way. There are many ways to get out and experience the attractions in North Bali. There are a number of bus terminals, the bus can take you to the other side of Bali. A bus will cost you around Rp 40K. “Ojek” Motorbike Taxi - Is a local way of getting around by scooter with a driver, the price can be negotiable. Motorbike rental should cost – Rp 70K (12hrs) or Rp 100K (24hrs). Bike rental should cost Rp35K (Rp150K deposit is required per bike). Car Rental should cost – Half day (Rp 350K- Rp 400K) Full Day ( Rp 600K- Rp 700K). Please check for availability as some transportation may not be available! There is no washing machine or dryer. We have clothes line for drying or we can organise a laundry service at friendly price. For water conservation we will change bed sheets and towels every second day or as needed. As we live in the middle of the rice fields, we are exposed to many kinds of animals (you may see some friendly frogs or crickets) but there is no reason to worry, we always keep the cottage clean and tidy.
