Bright, airy, spacious and newly decorated, we have tried to make the apartment a very comfortable "home away from home", a place where you can relax, unwind and enjoy your stay. Fresh, newly decorated and spacious, the accommodation comprises a bedroom, en suite shower room/toilet and large living area with a gas log fire, large sofa-bed, kitchenette, dining table, lounge and 42"TV (with dvd player). WiFi is also included. French doors lead onto patios and the garden. The accommodation includes own carport and entrance. Guest accommodation, while part of a family home, is self contained with no shared facilities. It has its own entrance, affording guests privacy and autonomy. However, guests have access to the garden; and laundry facilities. We are an open and friendly family who welcome visitors to their home, however, guests can choose their level of interaction. (High chair/baby equipment available) Guests will no doubt be visited by the family dog, Bindi, a very friendly and safe mini-Schnauzer who loves people and children. We love our friendly neighbourhood - the street is leafy and quiet with bush walks on the doorstep, it is very close to the charming village of Wentworth Falls with its cafe's and shops and a short stroll to the lake. The start of the Darwin Walk and National Pass is close by. Perfect for bush walkers, families or for a couples getaway. The station and bus stop at Wentworth Falls are a 5 minute walk away. Guests arriving by car will have their own parking in the carport alongside the accommodation. If arriving from the airport, the train is particularly convenient with one change at Central Station in Sydney. We will happily collect guests from the station. We have extensive information and knowledge of the local area, walks and amenities. Guests have access to the whole apartment and the garden. We are generally available on the premises, but are always available by telephone if out, or away. We live in a quiet, friendly, tree lined street with wonderful neighbours all around. The walk to the village is 5 minutes. The village and train station are a 5 minute walk. There is a bus stop at the top of the road too. Free WiFi is available for guests to use. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided along with milk and butter and jam for the breads provided (see below). If available, fresh eggs are available from the hardworking chooks in the garden! The kitchenette has a counter and sink, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee pod machine and electric fry-pan. There is no stove, however, should guests want to cook they are welcome to do so in the main kitchen by arrangement. Fresh Croissant or baguette from the famous Swarz's patisserie is provided daily (between 7:30 and 8:00 am) along with butter and a selection of jams. The apartment can accomodate up to 4 adults/children plus one or two infants. Please include all guests after two, including infants, as extra guests when booking.
