Beautiful valley walks close by. parking in-front of our cottage. Knobbly Nook lies behind our cottage., Wifi and smart tv with netflix and Freeview. There is also a key box for convenience if needed. Bus and railway networks available close by. Guests are welcome to park at their own risk in front of the hosts cottage. Plenty of room to manoeuvre. Gina with her son Alex are your hosts living in the cottage across from the annexe whilst working remain flexible about being available to help you for the biggest or smallest things. Nothing is a problem.We have lived in the cottage for over 21 years raising our now grown up family there. For us it carries lovely memories and is a peaceful haven to come home to. Within the (Website hidden by Airbnb) areas there are chinese and Indian takeaways; local shop and post office; fish shop; Co-op supermarket, doctor's and pharmacy. Close by is a petrol station and shop.Within 4 miles there is a Tesco's, Lidl and Asda. The nearest beach (Par) is about 2 miles away with lovely walks by the leats . le and an easy walk. A short beautiful walk along the coastal path will bring g you to Polkerris Polkerris where you will find the Rasleigh pub and Sam's on the beach serving lovely food with great views. Charlestown harbour with its tall ships, cafes and pubs is about 2 miles; Fowey, which is a boating community, is 3 miles with shops, restaurants, boat trips and fishing and Mevagissey which has a working harbour is 5 miles distant. Of course the Eden Project is less than a mile away up the back lanes and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are 5 miles on the way to Mevagissey. There is also the National Trust property and gardens at Lanhydrock about 3 miles. If golf is your thing there are public courses at Porthpean (2 miles); St. Austell (4 miles). St. Austell town is just over 3 miles and has a variety of shops, pubs and banks. Also there is a large market at Par (1 mile). Some recommended pubs would be the King of Prussia, Fowey; Rashleigh at Polkerris; Pier House at Charlestown and The Polgooth Inn at Polgooth and lastly The Sharksfin at Mevagissy. There are good road links to all parts of Cornwall or Devon from the main road; mainline and branch line train services from Par station (15 mins walk); a bus service to St. Austell town and surrounding areas from the main st and taxi services locally. There are also plenty of local walks including Luxilyan woods and the coastal path. Knobbly Nook does not have a washing machine but there is a launderette three miles away approx 8 minute drive . PL25 3HT. It is situated conveniently in Daniels lane opposite lidl and Tesco. There is an iron and ironing board with a fan in the bedroom.
