BEDROOM: * New sheets Nov 2021 - Queen sized bed / new mattress and quilt, bedside lamp, built in wardrobes, coat hangers, fan, extra pillow and blanket, board games, books deckchairs, iron. KITCHEN: - Tea, coffee, milk - NESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE and various pods. Instant coffee, black and herbal teas, full cream milk (let us know what milk you drink) - NEW AIRFRYER - March 2021 - see image and description. - Instant coffee (Moccona) - Filter coffee (guest needs to purchase ground coffee) - Toaster, Kettle, Microwave, Oven, Puratap (filtered water), cleaning products, all basic crockery (plates, bowls, glasses, saucers, dishes e.t.c) - Bin under sink - once full you can take your bags of rubbish to the outside bins. LOUNGE ROOM: - Samsung TV - Smart TV + WIFI - now at NBN speed. NETFLIX - Heating and cooling BACKYARD: - The lawn / backyard to the right of your unit can be used as your own for your stay. ON REQUEST: ironing board, vacuum cleaner, milk type (whole milk, skim, oat, almond etc.) * Note: No washing machine - closest laundromat is a 8 minute drive away - see 'other things to note' for details. It's called Star Laundromat on Belair Road If you would like to request something that is not listed, please send us a message prior to your booking, as we might be able to cater. - KEY LOCK BOX (independent access for easy arrival and departure - code sent through to you the morning of your arrival CARPARK: - Park up the right side of driveway which is for your use only. Drive-way is steep so some guests prefer to park on the quiet street. Private and independent - code on entry/exit We are an 'out and about' family. We live next door and would be more than happy to meet you. We are more than happy to offer local tips or assist with any concerns/emergency advice as needed. If you would like to request something during your stay that is not listed, PLEASE feel free to ask (send us a message anytime!) as we might be able to accomodate. - We are surrounded by Colonel Light Gardens, Clapham, Daw Park suburbs. 8 Minute drive to Mitcham, including shopping centre/cinema/gym. - Lots of trees, sounds of birds, views of Adelaide foot hills. Tucked away in a relatively quiet street and neighbourhood - Pasadena Foodland - 'Adelaide finest supermarket' - 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. Interstate and locals rave about this supermarket. You really have to check it out to believe it. (A must stop for your food supplies) There is also a TKMax, Dan Murphys, Chemist and Petrol Station there. - Excellent local cafes and coffee shops within 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk. We must admit we have high standards with our food and coffee. * ‘The Local Crowd' (cafe / restaurant style menu - have a wine or beer with lunch) or 'Bond Lane' (cafe) or 'Eire' cafe (homemade style food and great coffee) - 2 minute walk to local bus stop and oval/park with exercise equipment and dog park - 20 minute drive to the CBD - including the Fridge Festival - 30 minute drive to McLaren Vale or Adelaide Hills wine region - 20 minute drive to Brighton Beach - 15 minute bus ride to Flinders Medical Centre - 20 minute bus ride to Marion Shopping Centre (David Jones, Cinema, Harris Scarfs, fashion and food) - Good point to stop and rest before heading on to Kangaroo Island - Walk - local parks, supermarket and cafes - Bus - 2 minute walk from unit - journey to the city centre is really pretty, taking you via Victoria Avenue/King William Road. Bus also takes you to Flinders Hospitals. - Train - you can see it pass through the hills - approx 20 minute walk to local train stop - Drive or Uber COVID - 19 I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines - Complimentary to your stay we provide a Nespresso machine and pods, a variety of teas, small fresh milk and a cheeky snack. We do not provide breakfast unless on special request and at an extra charge of $15 (for one person) $20 (for two people). - You have your own driveway, however it is steep, so if you are not confident, don’t have experience driving up steep driveways, or if your car is low to the ground, it is recommended that you park on the street. There is plenty of parking, and it is a quiet and safe street. We have found approximately 50% of guests park on the street. - We have 2 young kids so there is potential for noise between 6.00am - 7.00pm. We are usually out and about early so should have a quiet sleep in from 7.30am - onwards. - No pets
